  4. The brave
  5. The unforgotten fallen

  9. These 268 have died
  10. During the lifetime of this site
  11.  
  12. Fears of the family
  13. Reaching far and wide
  14. Coming to my home
  15. From across the globe
  16.  
  17. The power of technology
  18. Stretching the distance
  19. Bringing home
  20. The need to help out
  21.  
  22. The anguish
  23. The doubt
  24. The need to remember
  25. Each military dead
  26. Each military effort
  27.  
  28. While there is little I am able to do
  29. Never shall those lost
  30. Be forgotten
  31. But ever talked about
  32.  
  33. The memories of the family
  34. Shall grow strong and tall
  35. As each child grows
  36. They represent one of the fallen
  37.  
  38. The memorials may be few
  39. The casualties many
  40. But each young child
  41. Each breath we take
  42. Each word we write
  43. Bring American souls
  44. Back to life
  45.  
  46. Never fear
  47. Dear families of the brave
  48. The American soul will only allow
  49. The utmost respect
  50. The utmost desires
  51. Of you and yours to be kept
  52. The memory of each
  53. Will ring true in our hearts.

Lighting The Way Home

 

  1. Candles are lit
  2. From shore to shore
  3. In memory of each girl and boy
  4. Off to fight this awful war
  5. Protecting what is ours
  6. Protecting our doors
  7.  
  8. The fight rages on
  9. Reports of casualties continue to come
  10. But hope in our loved ones
  11. Keeps the fight going strong
  12.  
  13. Never a doubt
  14. Nor a shadow be
  15. For to give in
  16. Would darken our world
  17. Not just for you
  18. But also for me
  19.  
  20. Candles are lit
  21. Candles burn bright
  22. Insurgents beware
  23. For our hope will endure
  24.  
  25. Each flicker of light
  26. Represents a life still to lead
  27. A dream burning bright
  28. A promise still to keep
  29.  
  30. For however long it takes
  31. Our brave shall protect
  32. What makes our home great
  33. What makes our home ours
  34.  
  35. The joy and the peace
  36. Of each American heart
  37. Burning with hope
  38. Awaiting their return
  39.  
  40. Each flame that still burns
  41. Brighter than before
  42. Brighter than the North Star
  43. Shall forever shine forth
  44.  
  45. We shall await
  46. No matter the time
  47. For each of our warriors
  48. To make the journey home

  50. While not all shall make it back
  51. A candle for each life
  52. Each dream to be had
  53. Shall burn forever bright
  54. Within our hearts
  55. Within our minds

  57. So as we decorate for the new festive season

  59. As a lighted candle shall shine forth

  61. Bringing warmth to the soul
  62. Keeping each soldier in our hearts

Time

  1.  
  2. Once again it is 9:11
  3. Not the date
  4. Not a memorial
  5. But the time
  6. 21:11 military time
  7.  
  8. Days, even weeks go by
  9. Then there it is
  10. 9:11
  11. Never the intention
  12. Seldom on purpose
  13. It is a moment each day that forever stands out
  14.  
  15. How often do you note the time
  16. Note the experience
  17. Digital time reflects more than we believe
  18. More than we expect
  19.  
  20. The memories, pain are vivid enough for each of us
  21. Imagine being a family member or friend to someone lost
  22. Imagine the efforts you may go to not to see the time
  23. Not relive the memories
  24.  
  25. Yet in my mind it is necessary
  26. It is an important part of my life
  27. An important part of what I do
  28.  
  29. My intention is to aide in healing
  30. The healing of a country
  31. The healing of a soul
  32. Yet some do not care for the reminders
  33. No matter how well said
  34.  
  35. The time is ours
  36. The time is meant to heal
  37. The time is meant to bring us together
  38. Help keep up United as never before
  39.  
  40. Bring our children home
  41. Home to peace
  42. Home to safety
  43. Home - where 9:11 can just be a time
  44. or a biblical verse
  45. Rather than a curse.
